DIFFERENT ROUTE

The Barbados Workers’ Union (BWU) was forced to adjust a tour to tourism workers on the island’s south and west coasts today, after the buses they were using were pulled. The visits to hotels to interact with workers in the tourism sector were part of the union’s commemoration of the 82nd Founder’s Day. BWU General Secretary Toni Moore (second left), here speaking to the media, said the buses were called away before the union’s messages “started making a few people anxious”.
