SJPI repairs completed, reopens Monday

The Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology (SJPI) will reopen on Monday, November 20, 2023, to the public and students.

Due to urgent repairs, the campus was temporarily closed on October 23, 2023. During that time, students attended virtual classes while the staff worked remotely.

Principal Ian Drakes said, “We are happy to report that the repairs have been completed on time, and we are prepared to welcome everyone back to face-to-face operations.” He said the closure was necessary to guarantee the safety of everyone during the renovation period.

Students are advised to take note that the academic calendar has been adjusted to make up for any time lost during the temporary closure. The revised academic calendar is available on SJPI’s website at www.sjpi.edu.bb.

Persons who require additional information are asked to contact 232 1102. (PR)
