Free park and ride for Independence Parade

A free park and ride service will be in place for patrons attending the Independence Day Parade at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex, on Thursday, November 30.

Patrons may park at Massy Stores Super Centre Warrens; PriceSmart, Green Hill; The Dome Mall, Warrens; the Barbados Port Inc.’s Cube Blue Building, all in St Michael, and at Queen’s College, Husbands, St James.

The following links for the park and ride, specific to each location, will produce an electronic ticket which will grant patrons access to the parking location, as well as to the event: Massy Stores Super Centre Warrens – barbadosidcpublic1.rsvpify.com; PriceSmart – barbadosidcpublic2.rsvpify.com; The Dome Mall – barbadosidcpublic3.rsvpify.com; Queen’s College – barbadosidcpublic4.rsvpify.com; Barbados Port (Cube Blue Building) – barbadosidcpublic5.rsvpify.com. Limited tickets for access to the Usain Bolt Sports Complex are available via the link barbadosidcpublic6.rsvpify.com. Persons who may have restricted mobility are asked to indicate such when registering via the link so that appropriate transportation can be provided.

Shuttles will be available from 6:15 a.m. The buses will be on standby for return trips back to the park and ride sites after the departure of the President, Her Excellency The Most Honourable Dame Sandra Mason, and Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley. The shuttle service ends one and a half hours after the departure of the dignitaries.
