T&T’s Romany wins Run Barbados 10K

Twenty-four hours after winning the Fun Mile, Nicholas Romany from Trinidad and Tobago emerged victorious in the Run Barbados 10K.

The event took place on the outskirts of Barclay’s Park, where Romany completed the race in a time of 32:55, narrowly beating Kenyan athlete Alex Ekesa, who finished in 32:58.

Darren Matthew secured the third position with a time of 34:49 among the 168 participants.

On the same day, budding triathlete Luke McIntyre showcased his talent, claiming victory in the Sleeping Giants 5K, clocking 16:42.

Rick Williams (16:59) and Matthieu Clarke (17:26) followed closely, taking second and third place respectively out of the 338 athletes competing in the race.
