Christmas and community spirit blended last weekend as Kooyman reached out to support the holiday plans of two St Michael-based charitable organisations with donations of 7-foot Christmas trees to the Eden Lodge Youth Charitable Trust and The Church of Christ the King.

The presentations took place last Saturday at Kooyman Megastore, Kendall Hill, Christ Church. Assistant store manager Stefan Potthoff met with Bille-June Langdon, PRO of the Eden Lodge Youth Charitable Trust, and Lisa Padmore, who accepted on behalf of The Church of Christ the King.

The Church of Christ the King host its Christmas Wonderland event again this year under the theme Glorious Angels, and Padmore thanked Kooyman for their contribution to making the event a success. Christmas Wonderland will run for eight nights from December 26 to 30, and January 1, 5, and 6, 2024.

The Eden Lodge Youth Charitable Trust is preparing for its annual Christmas programme, and Langdon said the gift of a quality Christmas tree would be a welcome addition to their plans.

Kooyman’s live Christmas trees are always in popular demand, and this year has been no exception as Christmas shoppers descended on the Megastore, quickly emptying several containers of trees ahead of Christmas celebrations.
