Fogging schedule for March 11 – 15

he Ministry of Health and Wellness’ Vector Control Unit will continue its fogging programme in St Peter and St Joseph this week.

On Monday, March 11, the team will visit the following districts in St Peter: Cemetery Lane, Sweet Home Road, Battaleys Mews, Mullins Terrace, Mullins Road, Gibbs Glade, Gibbs Road, Piedmont Road, and environs.

On Tuesday, March 12, the team will return to St Peter and fog Ashton Hall, Clarkes Road, Corbin Road, The Whim, Douglas Road, Church Hill Road, Tom Bend Road and surrounding areas.

Fogging will continue in St Peter on Wednesday, March 13, in the districts of Graveyard, The Risk, Date Tree Hill, Boscobel, Collins, Diamond Corner, Moore Hill, Castle, Gays, and environs.

The team will travel to St Joseph on Thursday, March 14, and spray Saddle Back Road, Spa Hill, Mellows Hill, Fruitful Hill, Sugar Hill, Chimborazo, Coffee Gully, and neighbouring districts.

Fogging for the week will culminate on Friday, March 15, in St Joseph at Airy Hill Tenantry, Braggs Hill, Parris Hill, Wilton Road, and environs.

Fogging takes place from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. daily. Householders are reminded to open their windows and doors to allow the spray to enter, and children should not be allowed to play in the fog.

Members of the public are advised that the completion of scheduled fogging activities may be affected by events beyond the Unit’s control. In such circumstances, the Unit will return to communities affected in the soonest possible time.
