Duo freed of burglary charges

Two St Michael men were acquitted of aggravated burglary charges in the High Court on Tuesday.

Dennis Rudolph Lythcott of Chapman Street and Gabriel O’Neil Greene of Greene, Mount Friendship, were found not guilty by a jury in Supreme Court No. 5A. They had been accused of entering Playfair Arcade as trespassers on March 7, 2014, and stealing $4 998 and at the time, had a firearm.

Justice Christopher Birch thanked the jury and told the two men they were free to go.
