Man, 29, injured in St John shooting incident

A29-year-old St John man is said to be in serious condition at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after he was attacked and shot by two armed men around 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Police said the victim was riding his motorcycle en route to his residence when the two assailants shot him in the chest and neck. He collapsed in the roadway at Sargeants Street, St John.

The two men fled the scene. Investigations are continuing.
