Update: Fatal shooting at Gall Hill, Christ Church

man was fatally shot by a lone gunman along Hillside, Gall Hill, Christ Church this morning.

Assistant Superintendent of Police, Victor Brewster told reporters at the scene that the deceased, was driving towards the Aberdeen Centre when he was approached by the assailant from a side road.

The man, who was the single occupant of the vehicle, attempted to flee his attacker but collided with two other vehicles, one of which was a route taxi travelling in the opposite direction.

The vehicle overturned and landed on its right side.

Brewster said the assailant then went toward the vehicle and discharged a number of shots and fled the scene.
No one travelling in the ZR was hurt.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call police emergency at 211, the Oistins Police Station at 418 2612, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 (TIPS)
