Concerned and angry parents are gathered outside closed gates at the Deighton Griffith Secondary School, following reports that a student was on the compound with a cutlass.

However, the parents have been told by the school’s security personnel they cannot collect their children at this time, and they are demanding an audience with the principal to get answers.

Police are inside the compound.

More details as they come to hand.
