West Indies captain Hayley Matthews continues her sensational form, surging to a career-best 770 rating points in the latest ICC Women’s T20I Batting Rankings.

Her stellar performances have narrowed the gap with Australia’s Beth Mooney, who is 794 points behind her at the top by five points.

Matthews was named Player of the Series after a dominant display, scoring 147 runs and claiming two wickets in the three-match T20I contest. Her consistency with the bat has reinforced her status as one of the game’s premier all-rounders.

Meanwhile, teammate Chinelle Henry has also made strides, climbing three places to 86th in the T20I Batting Rankings. On the bowling front, leg-spinner Afy Fletcher rose three spots to 12th after an impressive five wickets in the series.

In the ODI rankings, off-spinner Karishma Ramharack advanced one spot to 25th, underlining the West Indies’ growing depth in the bowling department. (CMC)
