Jamaican woman to appear in court Monday on drug charges

A 40-year-old Jamaican woman is due to appear in court on Monday in connection with four drug-related offences.

Tashana Roselyn Brown, of West Prospect, Bog Walk, St Catherine was charged by the Barbados Police Service Narcotics Unit following her arrest on November 1, 2025.

The offences include possession of cannabis, trafficking of cannabis, intent to supply, and importation of cannabis.

Police say the suspected cannabis weighs 6.7 kilogrammes and has an estimated street value of $53 600.

Brown is scheduled to appear in the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court on Monday. (PR/BT)
