Second booster recommended four months after first

The Ministry of Health and Wellness is advising the public that there is a revised policy regarding the second COVID-19 booster dose.

According to the new policy, adults aged 50 and older; immunocompromised individuals; healthcare workers, and other frontline workers are eligible for the second booster dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, four months after they have received their first dose.

Persons may attend any available vaccination site to receive the second booster. For further information on these sites, members of the public may click here. (BGIS)
