Reminder of Porters To Holders Hill community meeting

Residents and business owners living in the Porters to Holders Hill, St. James community are invited to attend the first of a number of community meetings to sensitise them about the Tsunami Ready Recognition Programme, on Sunday, June 5, at the St. James Parish Church, beginning at 4:30 p.m.

During this meeting, the St. James Central District Emergency Organisation and other key officials will share information about the tsunami hazard, the risk it poses to their homes and businesses, how they can mitigate these impacts and what actions they should take.

In addition, they will also be sensitised about the seven evacuation routes they can use to safely go to higher ground from Holders Hill to Porters Road. All are invited to attend. (BGIS)
