Update – Police release the name of Brittons Hill victim

Jabar Lashley, of Bibby’s Lane, St Michael is Barbados’ 9th murder victim for 2019.

Acting Police Public Relations Officer Station Sergeant Michael Blackman said Lashley went to a bar located at Gunsite Road, Brittons Hill, St Michael around 4:30p.m. on Monday, January 28, where he was stabbed by a male juvenile during an altercation.

The 29-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicle where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The juvenile is currently assisting lawmen with their investigations.
