He is John Arthur Mathurson, 72, of Saint-Lazare, Quebec, Canada. He was discovered at the beach behind the Rostrevor Hotel, St Lawrence Gap, Christ Church where he was staying. According to lawmen, Mathurson went swimming and got into difficulty.
