Murder accused at Dodds

The man allegedly responsible for the stabbing death of 27-year-old Anthony Nurse is on remand at HMP Dodds.

The accused, 35-year-old Clifton Ricardo Lewis, of Stratford Hill, Pinelands, St Michael appeared in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, May 4.

He was not required to plead to the indictable charge and will reappear in court on May 31.

Police responded to reports of a stabbing incident at Stratford Hill around 5:45 p.m. on April 29. However, when lawmen arrived at the scene, Nurse had been taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicle where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries.
