Update: Several people injured in accident outside UWI

Seven University of the West Indies students, believed to be non-nationals, were injured when a vehicle ran off the road just outside the Cave Hill Campus, emergency personnel said.

Two of the seven were reportedly seriously injured.

Eyewitnesses said there was a loud crash and piercing screams when the incident occurred just after 11 p.m.

Police are continuing investigations. (KS)
