Police probe shooting in St Lucy

Police are on the scene of a shooting incident at River Bay, St Lucy.

Police Public Relations Officer Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss told Barbados TODAY a man received a gunshot injury to the head.

Inniss said the victim was alert and conscious when he was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.

Investigations are continuing.
