Canadian visitor shot during home invasion

Police in the Southern Division are investigating after a Canadian visitor was shot and injured in a home invasion Saturday night.
Around 9:25 pm, police responded to a shooting incident at #161 Diamond Close, Ealing Park, Christ Church, where Kenneth Elliott, a 65-year- old Canadian visitor, was staying.
Police said Elliott was at home when the residence was invaded by three male assailants armed with firearms.
A struggle ensued and Elliott was shot in his left shoulder.
The men ran away.
Elliott was transported by ambulance for medical attention at  the QEH.
