Body discovered at Hunte Street, St Michael fire

Lawmen have discovered “what appeared to be the remains of an adult male” among the rubble of a house fire at Upper Hunte Street, St Michael this afternoon. “The identity is yet to be officially confirmed.”

Two wooden houses were destroyed in the fire which was reported around 1: 15 p.m.

Thirteen firemen from the Barbados Fire Service along with three fire tenders responded to the blaze.

Investigations are continuing.
