Belle Pumping Station back online

The Barbados Water Authority wishes to update the public that pumping has resumed from the Belle Pumping Station following the completion of works carried out by the Barbados Light & Power Company Ltd. (BLPC) today Sunday, March 1.

BLPC encountered some difficulties and completion of the work which was originally estimated at around 10 am was delayed by several hours.

Customers in some St Michael and Christ Church districts who may have experienced low pressure or water outages as a result of the stoppage, can expect their water supply to gradually return to normal.

The Barbados Water Authority apologizes for the inconvenience this service disruption may have caused.
