A first for Faith . . . Lemongrass signs singer as Brand Ambassador

Local artiste, singer and songwriter Faith Callender has been signed as Lemongrass’ first ever Brand Ambassador at their location in the Limegrove Lifestyle Centre.

Faith is an active member of the community who has been developing and inspiring youth via custom-tailored giveback programs in schools and around Barbados. She hosts and promotes healthy living and a wholesome lifestyle via her social media channels.

Owner of the Lemongrass restaurant and franchise Saman Golesorkhi told the media, “I love what she represents as a personality; whether in fitness, healthy-lifestyle or community development. In addition, she is an organic lover of Lemongrass even without our new partnership.

“We are interested in developing local talent, local industry and encouraging persons towards healthy, wholesome living and eating. Faith, of course, was a perfect fit in this journey and battle against NCDs such as diabetes, hypertension and obesity which have become increasingly common in Barbados and the world.”

Callender told the press, “I am very excited to be part of the Lemongrass team and I also think it is the perfect fit for not only my lifestyle but the messaging I wish to share with the public. Healthy doesn’t have to be hard, it can be delicious, fun and most of all it can be life-changing for the better.

“I look forward to spreading the messaging in schools, to my peers and the community to uplift and do my part for a better Barbados,” Faith indicated while highlighting the variety that Lemongrass offers for a girls night out, guys night out, a date or birthday and overall good time.

Lemongrass is a sponsor to the RBC Race for the Kids, the Vujaday Music Festival and a range of community development programs. The company hopes to incorporate Faith in these activities and many more going forward. (PR)
