Grenada records first case of COVID-19

Grenada has recorded its first imported case of COVID-19, Health Minister Nickolas Steele announced at an emergency news conference on Sunday.

The patient is a woman who travelled to Grenada from the United Kingdom on March 16.

The woman began showing symptoms on March 17.

She is currently in isolation and contact tracing has begun, Steele said.
