NCSA offers counselling support

The National Council on Substance Abuse (NCSA) extends our thoughts and prayers to those infected with the Covid-19 virus and their families. We pray for a safe recovery and we also pray that this island will be spared the brunt of this pandemic.

We support the Government’s measure to ban the sale of alcoholic beverages during this time, but recognise that this may also result in related health problems for those who experience problematic use of this substance: – issues of withdrawal, coping, other psychological challenges.

To this extent, we are urging you not to give up or to give in. The Council will continue to offer counselling support throughout this period to anyone impacted by the misuse of any substance.

If you or someone you care about needs help managing substance abuse issues during this time, please call us at 239- 0584 or 230- 0377.
