Sixteen-year-old male missing at sea

The Police Marine Unit and the Barbados Coast Guard are currently searching the waters off the coast of Tent Bay, Bathsheba, St Joseph for a 16-year-old male.

According to police spokesman Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss, personnel at District ‘F’ Police Station received a report via telephone around 12 :45 p.m., Friday, May 1, that “a young man had gone missing while free diving with three other persons” off the mentioned coast.

They responded and also contacted the Police Marine Unit and the Barbados Coast Guard. The officers are still on the scene conducting searches at sea in the general area “with no signs or sightings reported at this stage.”
