Shooting incident leaves man with life-threatening injuries

A 30-year-old man was rushed to surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after being shot around 9:30 p.m on Saturday.

The man, whose name has not been disclosed, received two gunshot wounds to his back and chest while walking through a track towards Odessa McClean Road, My Lord’s Hill, St Michael.

Medical personnel described his injuries as life-threatening.

Police are continuing investigations.
