Police investigates unnatural death

Police are investigating the unnatural death of a man, which occurred around 11:30 a.m.

According to acting Police Public Relations Officer Station Sergeant Michael Blackman, lawmen responded to a report that an unresponsive male was pulled from the waters at Long Bay Beach, near Sam Lord’s Castle, St Philip.

On their arrival, the man, whose name has not been disclosed, showed no signs of life. He was later pronounced dead by a medical doctor.

Police are asking anyone who may have information related to the incident to contact the District ‘C’ Police Station at 416-8200, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 or any Police Station.
