More students ready for online learning . . . BNOCL donates tablets to Gordon Walters Primary

The Barbados National Oil Company Limited (BNOCL) was pleased to assist 20 students of the Gordon Walters Primary School, St. Patrick’s, Christ Church with tablets for their online school learning experience. The initiative falls under the core values of BNOCL as the company has a strong culture of corporate social responsibility and one of their tenets is Energy for Social Enhancement.

“Acknowledging the need for devices for school students during this trying time, we saw this as the perfect opportunity to ‘give back’ to our community and help our nation’s children. We look forward to helping the next generation build a brighter tomorrow, ” said Pedro Bushell, Group IT Manager.

Each tablet was configured and tested by the schools IT personnel and students were then asked to collect the devices. (PR)
