St. Kitts-Nevis Elections: Governing Team Unity wins 2nd five-year term

The Dr. Timothy Harris-led Team Unity coalition has won the right to govern the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis for five more years.

Team Unity won nine of the 11 constituencies, with the remaining two going to Labour.

The elections were announced May 18 by Harris, less than a week after the National Assembly was dissolved. Nomination Day was May 27, where 23 candidates from five parties and one independent were nominated to contest the election.
