COVID-19 UPDATE: All cruise ship results negative; five remain in isolation

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory is continuing to assist cruise liners anchored off Barbados by testing crew members for COVID-19. Yesterday, 156 of the 214 tests carried out were at the request of the ships.

All the results were negative. Additionally, no one will be released from the isolation facility at Harrison Point, St. Lucy, today.

As a result, five people remain in isolation. Of the 97 people diagnosed since March 16, 85 have recovered, and seven have died.

The number of tests conducted by the laboratory up to yesterday was 7,308.
