Missing: Joyann Patricia Griffith

Police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate a missing woman.

She is Joyann Patricia Griffith, 45, of Green Park Lane, St Michael.

Joyann was last seen on Thursday, June 11 by her cousin Rodney Griffith.

When last seen, she was wearing a white T-shirt, a pair of long blue jean pants and a pair of tiger-striped slippers. Her hair was in an afro-puff style held in place by an elastic band.

Police said the missing report was filed yesterday by her step sister Gailann Selman after repeated efforts by Joyann’s daughter to reach her were unsuccessful.

This prompted Selman to visit Joyann’s home where she discovered that she has not been at the house since last Thursday.

Police said that Joyann, who sells fish at Baxter’s Road, St Michael on weekends, is known to occasionally stay with friends who visit the island but during these times she maintains contact with family via telephone.

Joyann is five feet, two inches and has a dark complexion. She has a split between her upper front teeth and each ear is pierced once. She is full-breasted and has an erect appearance.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Joyann Griffith is asked to contact Central Police Station at telephone number  430-7227, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800 –TIPS (8477),  or the nearest Police Station.
