Wanted man remanded after court appearance

Steven Cuthbert Belle alias Hess who was the subject of a wanted person police bulletin has been remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison Dodds.

In a media statement, Police Public Relations Officer Inspector (ag) Rodney Inniss said Belle was arrested in connection with several serious criminal matters, which occurred at Durants Village, Holders Hill, St James on June 26, 2020. He was charged with three offences – use of a firearm, endangering life and criminal damage.

When Belle appeared at the Holetown Magistrates’ Court today before Magistrate Wanda Blair, he was not required to plead to the charges of use of firearm or endangering life. He will reappear in court on August 13, 2020.
