Fogging schedule for July 20 – 24

The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health and Wellness will continue its fogging exercise in St Michael and St. James this week.

On Monday, July 20, areas to be fogged in St James are 1st and 2nd Street, Holetown, Cherry Avenue, Sunset Boulevard, Violet Row, Hibiscus Avenue, Cemetery Lane, Mayhoe Avenue, Cordia Avenue, Flamboyant Avenue and environs.

From Tuesday, July 21, and continuing for the rest of the week, the team will concentrate its efforts in a number of St Michael districts. On Tuesday, the areas to be sprayed will be Highgate Gardens, Collymore Rock, Burkes Land, Eversley Road, Brittons New Road, Reece Land, Valerie, Brittons Cross Road, Beckles Road, Villa Road, Laynes Road, Scotts Gap and surrounding areas.

On Wednesday, July 22, fogging takes place in Culloden Road, Dalkeith Village, Tamarind Avenue, Chapel Place, Beckles Road, Jessamine Avenue, Pipers Avenues, Curwin Avenue, Browne’s Avenue, Lukes Avenue, Bay Street, Chelsea Road and neighbouring districts.

On Thursday, July 23, Parkinson Field, Field Road, Rock Avenue, Rock Close, Bottom Close, Factory Avenue, Pine East West Boulevard, Regent Hill, Phillips Road, Midway Lane and environs will be sprayed.

And on Friday, July 24, the team will travel to Newton Crescent, North Wildey Terrace with Avenues, East Terrace with Avenues, Wildey Gardens, Laynes Gap, Gas Product Road, Flagstaff, Streats Road, Ifill Road and environs.

Fogging takes place between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. each day. Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter.
