Accused heads to Dodds

Sachin Alexander Tendulkar Harewood

A young man named after one of international cricket’s best batsmen has found himself on remand on a number of gun and ammunition charges.

Sachin Alexander Tendulkar Harewood has been remanded to Dodds and will make his next appearance before the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on August 17.

It is alleged that the 20-year-old of Godding Road, Station Hill, St Michael had in his possession, on July 15, a firearm and six rounds of ammunition without the necessary licences.

The well digger was not required to plead to the indictable charges when he appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick earlier today.
