Young child found wandering along Hinds Hill

A little boy believed to be about two years of age was found wandering the streets in the wee hours of this morning.

In media statement Police Public Relations Officer Inspector (ag) Rodney Inniss said, “he was found along the area of Hinds Hill, St. Michael near the traffic lights, he was found wandering and crossing the roadway about 3:45 a.m. this morning.”

Inniss gave the following description of the child:

” The child is brown skin with black hair the sides a cut low and the rest plaited in cornrow style, his eyes are black, full and bright he is dressed in a blue T-shirt with white writing reading – ‘ when mum says no ask grandma’ he was wearing a white pamper and barefooted. He isn’t responding regarding his name or his mummy or daddy’s name.”

Police have issued an appeal to the parents, guardians of this young child or anyone who can identify this child to please contact the Black Rock Police Station at 417 7500 of police operations Control Room at 430 7100 or Police Emergency 211.
