Update: Police identify shooting victim

Police have identified the man shot dead a few metres away from the Black Rock police station as 26-year-old Kadeem Renaldo Bispham of Roach Village St George.

Police Public Relations Officer Inspector (ag) Rodney Inniss said the incident took place around 2:45 a.m this morning at 2nd Avenue Gills Gap, Eagle Hall, St Michael.

Inniss said a man reported the incident to police which triggered an immediate response, when police arrived on the scene they discovered the body of Bispham lying in the roadway. Ambulance personnel arrived shortly afterwards and on examination of the body found no sign of life. A medical doctor pronounced him dead at the scene. Investigations are ongoing at this time.
