One new positive COVID-19 case recorded

A 69-year-old Barbadian woman is the latest COVID-19 patient in Barbados, bringing the local tally to 133. The woman, who arrived on British Airways on August 4, is now in isolation at Harrison Point, St. Lucy.

Meanwhile, two people have recovered and will leave the isolation facility today, bringing the number of persons in isolation to 26, and the number of recovered persons to 100.

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted 217 tests yesterday. A total of 12,057 tests have been performed since February 11.
