Motorcyclist seriously injured in collision

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision in St Michael this afternoon, police say.

Around 4;40 p.m., emergency crews were called to Upper Collymore Rock for a collision between a motorcyclist and a motorcar.

Police say both vehicles were travelling east when they became involved in a collision resulting in serious head injuries to the motorcyclist.

He was taken to the QEH for medical treatment.

The male driver of the motorcar was unhurt.

Police investigations continue.
