Update: Female’s body found at the bottom of a cliff in St Lucy

Police from the northern Division and Crab Hill station today responded to a report that a naked body was seen at the bottom of a cliff at the eastern side of the property of the Animal Flower Cave, St Lucy.

Police say they were called to the area around noon.

Ambulance and Barbados Fire Service personnel were summoned and arrived soon afterwards.

Police say the body was located about 70 feet down the cliff among several rocks and boulders a very treacherous terrain.

The body is that of a woman but her identity is still unknown.

Police are appealing to the general public for any information, which may be helpful in assisting the investigation.
