#BTColumn – Why not legalise bestiality, necrophilia, pedophilia?

“Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable” (Lev.18:22, NIV)

“When it comes to the origin of life there are only two possibilities: creation or spontaneous generation [evolution]. There is no third way. . .” George Wald,
Nobel Prize winning biologist.

When all is said and done the rightness or wrongness of homosexuality, same-sex civil unions and same-sex marriage all boils down to whether God created mankind and has declared homosexuality an abominable sin to be repented of.

Or whether there really is no God and mankind is just the result of purposeless, chance evolutionary processes left to declare for himself whatever he subjectively thinks
is right and wrong.

If the latter is the truth then one cannot condemn those who see nothing wrong with other sexual perversions such as pedophilia, bestiality or necrophilia.

Furthermore what about those who claim they are born that way with genetically “built in” desires to have sex with children, animals and corpses? Are we as nation also going to defend their “human rights” to do so? After all isn’t that their “sexual orientation” too? Wouldn’t it be discrimination against the pedophile, the zoophile and the necrophiliac if as a nation we refuse to decriminalise pedophilia, bestiality and necrophilia?

Where will the sexual rights madness end?

The Bible says: “There is a way that men think is right, and its ways are the ways of death” (Pro.24: 12, Aramaic Bible in Plain English).

The Brenton Septuagint Translation renders it: “There is a way which seems to be right with men, but the ends of it reach to the depths of hell.”

I submit that the Barbados Government’s latest move to recognise same-sex civil unions (no doubt as a precursor to what the LGBT lobby really wants – full recognition and legalisation of same-sex marriages) has opened the flood gates for “all hell” to break loose in our nation issuing form the international perverted sexual
rights movement.

For example, just about 50 years ago the 1972 Gay Rights Platform created at the US National Coalition of Gay Organisations Convention held in Chicago 1972 called for “Repeal of all laws governing the age of sexual consent” (cited in “Did California Legislators Just Vote to Protect (Gay) Adults Who Have Sex with Minors?” https://stream.org/did-california-legislators-just-vote-to-protect-gay-adults-who-have-sex-with-minors/). As seen from the latest legislative maneuverings in the state of California re: adult gay men having sex with minors that quest is still very much on the cards.

Is Barbados also going to jump on that bandwagon in order “to be considered amongst the progressive nations of the world” and not “allow itself to be blacklisted for human rights abuses or discrimination on the matter of how we treat to human sexuality and relations”?

Oh, that we would really let the Lord be the people’s guide and not the insane perverted dictates of the international community.
