Small craft advisory is in effect for Barbados

A small craft advisory is now in effect for Barbados until 6 p.m., on Sunday, October 25, 2020.

The Barbados Meteorological Services (BMS) says the island will be affected by sustained winds of 20 to 25 knots and there will be significant sea swells ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 waters.

The BMS has advised beach goers and operators of marine crafts, particularly on the northern and eastern coasts that large open swells can be hazardous to operate some vessels, particularly small ones.
