One new COVID-19 case, two recoveries

One visitor to the island has been diagnosed with COVID-19 after undergoing a second test. The 32-year-old man, who arrived on American Airlines on November 13, was asymptomatic.

Additionally, two persons will be released from isolation today after recovering from the viral illness.

A total of 304 tests were conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory yesterday. Barbados has now recorded 250 cases. Of these, 238 have recovered and 5 remain in isolation.

The laboratory has completed 42,022 tests for the year.
