Court Local News Two admit to murdering St Peter man Barbados Today19/11/2020186 views Faith Angelica Pile and Shaquan Sherwin Amor Crichlow (FP) Partners Faith Angelica Pile and Shaquan Sherwin Amor Crichlow have confessed to killing David Nicholas Blenman almost four years ago. Appearing before the No. 2 Supreme Court this afternoon the two, from Skeete’s Road, Jackmans, St Michael said they were not guilty of murder but guilty of non-capital murder in Blenman’s death which occurred sometime between November 30 and December 1, 2016. The nude body of the 26-year-old from Golden Mile, Heywoods, St Peter was discovered at Foul Bay Beach, St Philip around 5:45 a.m. on Thursday, December 1. Today’s pleas from Pile, 25, and Crichlow, 23, means they will not face the death penalty under the amended Offences Against the persons Act 2018, even though the amended legislation at section 2 of Cap. 141 stipulates that punishment for a person who commits the offence of murder may be liable on conviction on indictment to (a) suffer death or; (b) imprisonment for life. The facts of the case will be detailed by Senior Crown Counsel Neville Watson before Justice Randall Worrell next Wednesday, November 25.
