Change to Category One testing facility

The Ministry of Health and Wellness has advised that due to current logistical and staffing challenges, persons who fall into Category One for swabbing will be accommodated at the Branford Taitt Polyclinic and the Best-dos Santos Testing Facility from Monday, January 11, starting at 8:30 a.m.

It was previously announced that the Glebe Polyclinic would be one of the two testing facilities for Category One.

Persons in Category One are:

• Medical Officers

• Primary contacts

• Royal Barbados Police Force Personnel

• Her Majesty’s Prison Dodds staff and inmates

• Barbados Defence Force Personnel

• All Medical Personnel

• Immigration Officers

• Border Security

• Barbados Port Inc.

• Customs Officers

• Patients awaiting tests for medical treatment

• Patients in Medical Care Facilities.

Additionally, the Branford Taitt and Eunice Gibson Polyclinics will be open for testing, tomorrow, Sunday, January 10, from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. (BGIS)
