Police Public Relations Officer Inspector (ag) Rodney Inniss said the body was found floating about a half kilometre in the area of the Cliff Restaurant, near Paynes Bay Beach, St James. Inniss said Smith was identified by a close friend and business associate. He was reported missing at sea on Sunday.
