BADMC lawsuit adjourned

The lawsuit brought by sacked CEO Dr Brian Francis against the state-run Barbados Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation (BADMC) was adjourned on its first day.

When the parties appeared remotely, a case management conference was conducted and the two sides were given directions to submit certain documents by the resumption of the matter on June 10 at which time the court would have its say on the case going forward.

Francis is being represented by Queen’s Counsel Hal Gollop in association with Neil Marshall and Akili Nicholls while attorney Liesel Weekes is appearing for the board of the BADMC. (EJ)
