COVID-19 Update: 11 new cases, 20 recoveries

Eleven new positive COVID-19 cases – all females – were identified on Saturday, April 10, from 321 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

Twenty people also recovered from the viral illness. There are now 79 persons in isolation. There have been 3,730 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (1,815 females and 1,915 males) recorded since the pandemic began in March, last year.

Additionally, 3,607 persons have recovered, and 44 persons have died from the virus. A total of 146,135 tests have been conducted by the public health laboratory.

To date, 65,873 people – 27,137 men and 38,736 women – have been vaccinated as part of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19. (BGIS)
