Temporary road closure of the Round The Town Road, Speightstown

 The Barbados Tourism Investment Inc. (BTI) wishes to inform the public that the Speightstown Flood Mitigation Project – Salt Pond Phase II is in progress. This project which is expected to be completed by March 2022 will result in a number of temporary traffic changes. 

Traffic change number one will commence on May 3rd 2021 to September 20th 2021 with the temporary closure of the Round The Town Road, Speightstown St. Peter. 

LOCAL ACCESS to Round The Town Road will be permitted ONLY from Farm Road moving towards the Saltpond Culvert and Church Street moving towards the Saltpond Culvert. 

Pedestrians and Motorists are kindly asked to exercise caution and to pay attention to the signage which will be placed at various points in the area to assist the traveling public. (PR)
