MOH: Only vaccines from India expiring this month

The Ministry of Health and Wellness’ Immunisation Unit has advised that the only vaccines expiring this month are the ones which were given to Barbados by the Government of India in February, this year.

The open day being held today, Friday, May 28, at various sites targets those persons who received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in February and March, or before April 1, 2021.

People who got their first vaccine after April 1, 2021, are being assured by the Unit that vaccines are available for them to receive their second jab, which will be due in June.

The Unit thanks members of the public for their understanding in this matter.
